Perhaps I went a little over the top with this one from 2014.

Perhaps I went a little over the top with this one from 2014.

I am somewhat out of practice, but here it is.

SP 4449 at Sacramento 1991.

Colorized train at Laws Museum near Bishop, CA. Pardon me if I shared this before.

I am having a challenging time sorting out in my head which version of this image works the best. It is interesting how much a small cropping can affect the mood of an image. Is the bottom rendering the strongest because of the leading lines of the sidewalk, or am I missing something?

Oftentimes I cannot decide which variation of an image that I prefer to print and exhibit. I see two completely different statements with these to renderings. They each tell a unique story, and perhaps both tales are valid.
The black and white version is on exhibit at the Redwood Art Association Gallery at 603 F Street, Eureka, CA. I think the print has a visual appeal that these screenshots just cannot accomplish.

I thought that I completed my work in the business district of Eureka. Instead, I see that my study is taking me deeper into the workings of the city.

Perhaps it is just me, but I cannot easily find a place to rest my eyes in this image. They finally settle on the greenish horizontal strip near the center. Perhaps that is all right. I am open to comments.

A variation of the above.

In Eureka last week.
