I understand that this locomotive is heading for the scrap yard soon.
This is my first HDR composite using Lightroom’s new HDR tool.

This was essentially the first image that I made on my recent trip to the eastside of the Sierra Nevada.
I posted an earlier rendering of this image while I was on the road. This is how I see it now.
Sometimes the basic composition can withstand a different angle, or a alternate focal length, but while making these adjustments, the dawn emerges, taking away many of the options.
At a secret meeting, the ancient ones listen.
