A LITTLE EXPERIMENT

Last night and today I played around with this image. A buddy of mine has a good technique for altering his images, and I thought I would follow his lead.

I think that “morphing” a photograph into something else is fun and challenging. I did this work manually- that is, I did not have software that automatically converts images into “oil paintings”. Anyhow, I am sure that this image will not be acceptable as a valid work of art because it is neither a photograph nor is it a painting.

It was fun anyhow.

WORKING ON SOME NIGHTTIME ZION IMAGERY

This is an example of where I think I am going with my night shots at Zion. I think one advantage of the nighttime work is that the crowds were absent. I think the other visitors were back at their campgrounds and their motels. The night belonged to me and the stars.
