Something about this composition grabbed my attention.

I suppose that I am just trying to be different.

On the streets of Paris I walk, see and react to what is presented.

I took this the other night outside Notre Dame Cathedral.

Notre Dame

I took this a few minutes ago with the pocket camera.

Here is the Lighthouse complex as it was in 1980. The lighthouse was still there, but not operating. At the time of the photograph I believe that the complex was operating as The Lighthouse Ranch. Eventually the lighthouse was moved to Woodley Island Marina in Eureka. Almost all evidence of the former base is gone with the exception of some of the concrete piers that are visible in the preceding post. This photograph is a scan from Ektachrome slide film.

Near the site of the former Table Bluff Lighthouse, which later became the Table Bluff Lighthouse Ranch.

HELLO – WELCOME, Thiksey, Ladakh, 2008
I am still working on the goal of effectively “colorizing” black and white photographs. I am learning more each day, but I still find that it is very challenging for me to learn how to effectively use Photoshop. I do not consider this to be a finished image, but it does show (I hope) that I am making progress in my understanding of the how-to aspects of this process.
